Adam Smith
The first modern development economist and in many ways still the best. For that matter he is probably the best and most important economist ever. Still.

An idea: MinutePhysics, a popular youtube channel (https://plus.google.com/114328975933589556247/posts), provides its videos with English subtitles and encourages viewers to submit subtitles in their languages (http://translate.minutephysics.com/). After processing, good submissions are added to the video's subtitle language menu, and thanks to these new subtitles in national languages people could enjoy the video if even they do not know English. For example, the subtitle language menu of the most recent video on the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics that was released just a couple of days ago (http://youtu.be/2dRr-fnPCwM) already includes at least seven languages over than English.
Maybe this idea would also work well with the MRU's videos...
Not a question, but maybe interesting for others:
The Wealth of Nations online: http://www.econlib.org/library/Smith/smWN.html
Econtalk book club on "Theory of Moral Sentiments" (the companion book to Wealth of Nations): http://www.econtalk.org/bookclub.html
Interesting lecture here also. He had terrible time in university...and unreadable handwriting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z92pjQVgqmY
There is also a really intersting reading of Smith by Noam Chomsky: http://www.chomsky.info/books/warfare02.htm
